We produce steel with the most sustainable and efficient production system, in an electric arc furnace that generates 9 times less emissions than conventional blast furnaces. Furthermore, our facilities and processes are adapted to ensure maximum reuse and recovery of our waste and improve our energy efficiency.

Nervacero aspires to excellence in environmental management, which is why since 2005 it has had an ISO 14,001 SGMA where it develops its commitments and continuous improvement actions with the aim of minimizing its environmental impacts. In Celsa we also participate in the World Steel Association’s Climate Action Program.

Likewise, in 2022 it certified its energy efficiency system ISO 50,001 with the objective of systematizing the energy improvement of its processes and, consequently, its impact on greenhouse gas emissions.
